Last month we landed in a little city on the Oregon Coast. I have my art studio set up in the dreamiest sunroom, the natural light pours in all day long. Just outside there is a towering rhododendron, and it is blooming like crazy. The bright reds next to the deep purples make the colors of the blossoms vibrate next to one another. It makes me happy to know the forests of Appalachia will soon be a sea of blooming mountain laurel. I have continued to work on my series of paintings inspired by the beauty of Virginia. These pieces have made their way to The Warm Springs Gallery. The owner has an incredible eye. Every detail of the gallery, all the way up to the cafe is thoughtfully chosen and perfectly placed. I am over the moon to have my work in this beautiful space. My paintings will be hanging for the months of May & June.
