Mountain Beauties

I will forever hold Bath County near to my heart. My first visit to the valley was in early spring. I was happy to arrive this time of year so I could watch this new world slowly reveal itself to me. The rolling neon green hills got brighter every day against the vibrant blue skies. The rivers, creeks and waterfalls around every corner kept me exploring for new views. The tropical plants bursting with color are still pushing me into the studio everyday. These mountain paintings are just the beginning of an ongoing series inspired by this hidden gem of Virginia.
